Our Amazing Team

jacqueline Vorndran, CCC-SLP

Jacq is pediatric speech language therapist and owner of Brave Roots Speech Therapy, a nature-based practice based on principles of empowerment, neurodiverse affirming approaches and individualized care. The three most important things to know about Jacq are that she recently added "mother of two” to her list of identities, she feels passionate about ensuring people feel welcome, and she is a playful person. Her favorite thing about working with children is how in tune they are with the world around them - noticing sounds and interactions that we adults miss daily! When Jacq is not mothering her children or working with her students, she is a competitive soccer player!

MIMI KRAMER, CCC-SLP

Mimi Kramer, CCC-SLP, is an amazing clinician who recently graduated from UNC Greensboro. In addition to being a skilled clinician who works and plays with all age groups, she is a musician and vocalist who is part of the local Durham music scene. Mimi enjoys both evaluating complex students and providing relationship based communication coaching and support. She is growing her capacity with the Meaningful Speech methodologies for Gestalt Language Processing styles of learning and is developing her skills with low-tech and high-tech augmentative and alternative communication strategies (AAC).
